Attachment Theory
"Attachment Theory" explores how early relationships shape our connections throughout life, depicted through mixed media works combining traditional painting on transparent acrylic with digital video. Solitary figures navigate between stability and uncertainty in these pieces, mirroring the psychological patterns of human bonding, while the interplay between painted surface and moving image reveals how our earliest attachments echo through our connections to places, memories, and each other.

Liminal Dreams
In "Liminal Dreams" (2013-Present), I explore the threshold between consciousness and dreaming, where reality dissolves into something more fluid and uncertain. Through a combination of traditional painting and video projection, these works capture moments of transition - figures suspended in water, birds in mid-flight, solitary observers at the edge of vast spaces.
Process
Mixed media works combine acrylic painting on transparent panels with carefully integrated photographic elements, creating pieces that exist in multiple visual dimensions. Video projections selectively animate portions of each work, establishing a dream-like dialogue between stillness and motion. This layering technique merges traditional painting with digital elements, allowing viewers to experience a fluid transition between material reality and imaginative possibilities.
